Open Your Soul: Shahnameh Story Night – The Love of Zal & Rudabeh

Hosted by Life Glory Academy, a psychoeducational center in Toronto

Event Description — Completed

In this special Shahnameh evening, we opened our hearts to one of the most beautiful love stories in Persian literature:
Zal and Rudabeh.

Through live storytelling, expressive verse reading, and heartfelt conversation, Hamdam Sheid guided us into the world of Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh—where love, courage, destiny, and inner transformation intertwine like threads of an ancient tapestry.

This wasn’t a dry literary lecture.
It became a living encounter with the story: a space where participants could feel the characters, hear the poetry, and recognize reflections of their own lives in the choices and struggles of Zal and Rudabeh.
